Trial Registration/Create A Profile form: User accounts/profiles must have a unique username and email address. If a user attempts to create an account/profile with a username or email address already in use, then s/he will get an error. However, the error message says the email address is already in use even if it is the username that’s the problem.

Spaces in Usernames
Monday, April 20th, 2009Trial Registration/Create A Profile form: “Username” field allows spaces to be entered, but a space is an illegal character in a username.
UPDATE: Spaces can be used in “Username” field in Trial Registration/Create A Profile form, and usernames containing spaces are recognized at login. (4/28/2009)
